LIGHTHOUSE 5K 2012
_The Junior Service League of St. Augustine will host its
20th anniversary Lighthouse 5K & Fun Run, in conjunction with the
annual St. Augustine Lighthouse Festival on st. patrcik's Day. The 5k RUN/walk is at 4pm and 1 Mile Fun Run is at 5pm on Saturday March 17, 2012,
starting and finishing at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and
Museum. RACESMITH IS VOLUNTEERING TO ADMINISTER THE EVENT. THIS YEAR'S
RACE WILL BE AGAIN BE A CHIP RACE (TIMED AT THE START AND FINISH).
Proceeds benefit service projects of the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum and the Junior Service League of St. Augustine, Inc. The league is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1935 to address the civic, cultural, and service needs of our community.
- PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, March 16, 2012 from 3:30-6:30pm on the Lighthouse porch (in front of the gift shop).
- RACE REGISTRATION: Online registration closes at 6pm on March 15 (see Registration tab). Walk-up Registration closes at 3:30pm on Race Day. Entry Fees are non-refundable.
- AGE DIVISIONS: (MALE & FEMALE) 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
- AWARDS & CEREMONY: $100 Cash Prize to the top Male and Female runners overall. Awards will be given to the top 3 racers in each division. The Awards Ceremony will follow the Fun Run.
- T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed to all racers whose registration is received by March 10. T-shirts may not be available on race day for late registrants. Please register early!
- PARKING: Available at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and St. Augustine Amphitheater. Shuttle service will be provided from the St. Augustine Amphitheater to the Lighthouse.
